"To Dig and To Learn" Workshop

In order to enrich our knowledge of archaeology, HDC will organize "To Dig and To Learn" workshop for FOH in January. Participants will be able to acquire knowledge in Field Archaeology through theory and practice. Let's enjoy the fun of archaeology! Details are as following:

Date: 26 January 2008 (Saturday)
Time: 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Venue: Activity Room, Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre
Quota: 20
Tutor: Assistant Curator from the Antiquities and Monument Office
Language: Cantonese
Fee: Free
Content: - Tutor will give a briefing on archaeological work, which includes the use of tools, techniques and procedures.
- Participants with conduct excavation and surveying work.
- Sharing of result in excavation and surveying.
Remarks: 1) Successful applicants will be selected by drawing lots and notified individually
2) FOH will get 1.5 hours of activity record for attending this function
3) This activity is restricted to Friends of Heritage only.
