Time : Lecture Hall, Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre, Kowloon Park, Tsim Sha Tsui
Assemble Time: 110 seats; first come, first served.
Assemble Place: 1) No enrollment is needed.
2) Audience will be admitted 15 minutes before each lecture starts.
3) FOH will get 2 hours of activity record for attending this lecture.

Activity (2)

Guided Visit to Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre

Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre is located at Hang Tau Tsuen, Ping Shan, Yuen Long. Converted from the Old Ping Shan Police Station built in 1899, the Centre introduces the history and cultural of Tang clan and New Territories, and also the monuments along the Pang Shan Heritage Trail.

A special tour is arranged for the FOH, details are as follows:-

Date : 23 June 2007 (Saturday)
Time: 10:30a.m. to 11:30a.m.
Assemble Time: 9:30 a.m.
Assemble Place: Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre
(AMO will arrange a coach for all participants)
Quota: 30
Content: Our FOH docent will introduce the content of the exhibitions to the participants.
Remarks: 1)
The tour will be conducted in Cantonese.
2) This activity is restricted to Friends of Heritage only.
3) Successful applicants will be chosen by a ballot and notified individually.

Practical Examination of Docent Service for the Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum
Heritage Trail Visitors Centre


We would like to express our thanks to the FOH attending the docent training of the Gallery in early April. These FOH (except in-service docents to whom examination are excluded) are eligible to enroll in the practical examination at the Gallery in the morning on 23 June 2007 (Saturday), and qualified FOH will provide docent service at the Gallery on Friday, Sundays and public holidays. We will provide details of the examination individually by email or post in early June, and please register with Mr. Fan at 2208 4407 for the examination after receiving details.
