Reference Library
The Reference Library is situated at the
G/F of the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre. It provides
reference materials on Hong Kong history, archaeology, heritage
conservation, museology, architecture and other heritage-related
subjects for public (local and overseas students, scholars
and researchers) for academic research purposes.
The Reference Library utilizes the multi-media
library system. The public can access our Online Public
Access Catalogue (OPAC) through the Internet or the workstations
at the library.
Reference Materials 
Services provided
The Reference Library is not a lending library. All materials
must be used and read in the library only and not available
for loan. Details please refer to library
regulations.
Appointment in advance by calling 2208 4428
and /or in writing (Fax no.: 2377 9792) before visiting
is preferable.
Appointment at least two working days in
advance will be necessary for viewing closed stack library
collection, research and photos archives. Some of the research
and photo archives may not be available due to copyright
and other concerns.
Opening Hours
Mondays to Saturdays (excluding Thursdays):
10:00a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sundays and Public Holidays: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Closed at 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and Chinese New Year's
Eve
Closed on Thursdays (except Public Holidays) and on the
first two days of the Chinese New Year.
