Public Programme:
"Tai Fu Tai Mansion" Public Guided Tours

Tai Fu Tai Mansion situated at Wing Ping Village of San Tin in Yuen Long, was probably built in the 4th year of Tongzhi (1865) of the Qing Dynasty. The building is considered as one of the most beautifully-embellished traditional Chinese building in Hong Kong. The building is richly embellished with plaster mouldings, wall paintings, wood carvings and ceramic figures. Its painted glass pane show signs of the Western influence which was then fashionable. This tour aims at introducing the Tai Fu Tai Mansion so that participants can learn more about the history and architectural style of the building.
