Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre (HKHDC)
"To Dig & to Learn" Archaeology Workshop

What is archaeology? How old are the finds excavated in Hong Kong? Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre will organize a "To Dig & To Learn" workshop in December 2008. The tutor will introduce basic knowledge on archaeology to participants through games, mock-up excavation and surveying. It allows participant to gain knowledge in archaeologists’ work, and learn how to differentiate finds through excavation. Through theory and practice, the workshop will enrich our knowledge and experience the fun of field archaeology.

  1. Briefing on local archaeology and its major discoveries.
