Accumulated Activity and Voluntary Working Hours for the 7th batch of FOH

The 7th batch of FOH please be reminded that our Office is going to round up your accumulated activity and voluntary working hours by 31 December 2006. You will become a permanent FOH upon the satisfactory completion of 10 hours of accumulated activity and voluntary work. If you are a member of the Monument Prefect Team and Questionnaire Working Group, please return all completed Monument Prefect records and questionnaires to us by post (Address: Miss Alice Tang, Education and Publicity Unit, Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre, Kowloon Park, Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon) or by fax (2377 9792) on or before 31 December 2006. Thank you!

Behind-the-Scene Tour to the Conservation Laboratory at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum

To enhance FOH's knowledge on the Central Conservation Section, we are going to arrange a behind-the-scene tour to the Conservation laboratory of the Central Conservation Section. Details of the tour are as follows:

Time ĄG 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Assemble Time ĄG 3:20 p.m.
Assemble Place ĄG Snack Bar, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, 1 Man Lam Road, Shatin, N.T.

Contents ĄG Assistant Curators of the Central Conservation Section will give an introduction on their work and the techniques on restoring artefacts
Remarks ĄG
  1. The tour will be conducted in Cantonese.
  2. This activity is restricted to Friends of Heritage only.
  3. Successful applicants will be chosen by a ballot and notified individually.
