New Year Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail Docent Tour

Lung Yeuk Tau is located at the northeast of Luen Wo Hui in Fanling, New Territories. The Tangs in Lung Yeuk Tau is one of the "Five Great Clans" in the N.T. The Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail was opened in 1999 with many traditional Chinese buildings and structures such as Tang Chung Ling Ancestral Hall and Tin Hau Kung. In February, we will organize a guided tour of Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail to introduce the heritage and monuments along the trail. All FOH are welcome. Details are as following:

Remarks:

  1. Participants must be punctual. We will take a Mini-bus (54K) to Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail, and participants should travel at their own cost .
  2. Successful applicants will be selected by drawing lots and notified individually.
  3. FOH will get 2 hours of activity record for attending this function.
  4. This activity is restricted to Friends of Heritage only.

Friend of Heritage Activity & Hour of Activity Record

The training period of Batch 8 of Friends of Heritage (FOH) was ended on 12 January 2008. The Antiquities and Monuments Office thank all 8th FOH for participating in our activities last year. The 8th FOH who have successfully completed 10-hours activity or volunteer service record would now become a permanent FOH member and we have already informed these FOH individually by post.
