Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre

Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre has opened to the public to since 15 April 2007. The Centre is located at Hang Tau Tsuen, Ping Shan, Yuen Long. Converted from the Old Ping Shan Police Station built in 1899, the Centre introduces local folk culture and heritage along the Trail.

The opening hours of the Centre is 10am. to 5 p.m. everyday (except Monday) and is closed on Mondays (except Public Holidays) and the first 2 days of Chinese New Year.

Starting from 27 May 2007, public guided tour will be available on Sundays and public holidays from 3:00pm.-3:45pm. on a first come first served basis. No enrolment is required. We welcome you all to visit the Centre and enjoy the docent service conducted by our FOH docents!

Training Period for the 8th Batch of Friends of Heritage (FOH)

Thank you for joining our orientation gathering held on 21 April in which we have introduced the background of the FOH Scheme and the activities for FOH. Upon the satisfactory completion of 10 hours of voluntary work within the period from 21 April 2007 to 31 December 2007, you will become a permanent member of Friend of Heritage. We will record all your activity and voluntary service working hours, and will send the record to you by post by the end of the year 2007. You can also record activity or voluntary service working hours using your brown color booklet that has distributed to you and no verification from us is required.

  4. The lectures are co-organized with the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and Hong Kong Architecture Centre.
