Guided Visit to Sheung Wan Route of the Central and Western Heritage Trail

Remarks：	The tours will be conducted in Cantonese.

Remarks:	No enrollment is needed. Audience will be admitted 15 minutes before each lecture starts. FOH will get 2 hours of activity record for attending this lecture.

Recruitment of Volunteers

Monument Prefects 2006

FOH Monument Prefect Team has been established by AMO since 2003. Team members are encouraged to visit selected declared monuments and report to us the conditions of the buildings and other facilities inside the monuments. We are now recruiting FOH to be new team members, you may select some of the following monuments to visit and conduct voluntary work. Here is a list of monuments that we would like you to visit:

Man Lun Fung Ancestral Hall, San Tin, Yuen Long	Entrance Tower and Enclosing Walls of Lo Wai, Lung Yeuk Tau, Fanling
Tai Fu Tai Mansion, San Tin, Yuen Long	Tang Chung Ling Ancestral Hall, Lung Yeuk Tau, Fanling
I Shing Temple, Wang Chau, Yuen Long	Tin Hau Temple, Lung Yeuk Tau, Fanling
Yu Kiu Ancestral Hall, Ping Shan, Yuen Long	Cheung Shan Monastery, Ping Che, Fanling
Tang Ancestral Hall, Ping Shan, Yuen Long	King Law Ka Shuk, Tai Po Tau, Tai Po
Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda, Ping Shan, Yuen Long	Fan Sin Temple, Sheung Wun Yiu, Tai Po

Monument prefects have to check:

1. The sanitary conditions inside the monuments (Examples: (i) to see if there are bunches of rubbish and goods gathered in the courtyard and (ii) to see if furniture are placed in the proper locations.)
2. The conditions of the exhibition panels inside the monuments;
3. The signage of the monuments along the road and see if they have been damaged;
4. The conditions of the walls and see if they have been scrawled or damaged.

Please fill in the attached Monument Prefect Report (Chinese Version) after the site visits. If you have discovered some serious problems concerning the monuments, please record them by photos and send them together with the reports to Ms. Freeman Wong either by email (amo@lcsd.gov.hk) or by fax (2377 9792). No enrollment is needed for joining this voluntary working team. You may visit one or more than one of the above monuments at anytime that you choose. We will record your voluntary hours in your activity records. Please send all the reports to Ms. Wong by 20 December 2006 for us to round up your records.
