Old Supreme Court (Court of Final Appeal)

8 Jackson Road

Edinburgh Place

Construction of the Old Supreme Court began in 1900 and was completed in 1912. This three-storey granite building is one of the finest examples of Neo-classical architecture in Hong Kong. After it was closed for renovation during the construction of the MTR in 1978, it was mainly used to house the Legislative Council from 1985 to 2011, and became the home of the Court of Final Appeal in September 2015. The exterior was declared a monument in 1984.

* The building is not open to the public
