Shrines are constructed in the villages of Lung Yeuk Tau to protect the villagers. Those shrines built at the main entrances of the villages are formal in style, and are made of brick and concrete. The tablets or stones are known as To Tei Kung, She Kung, Pak Kung or Fuk Tak Kung (the Earth God).
